FreeWill Labs LLC. Effective Date: May 5, 2026. Last Updated: May 5, 2026.
Welcome to FreeWill Labs LLC (“FreeWill Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our websites, apps, products, services, forms, digital content, and communications, including Family Trip OS and Adventure Quest. By accessing or using our website, apps, products, forms, or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our products or services.
1. Products and Services Covered
These Terms apply to the FreeWill Labs website, Family Trip OS, Family Trip OS custom trip builds, Adventure Quest, Adventure Quest free and premium collections, Adventure Quest custom collections, Adventure Quest partner pilot offerings, order forms, intake forms, contact forms, partner inquiry forms, related emails, support, customer communications, and any future FreeWill Labs products or services unless separate terms apply.
2. About FreeWill Labs
FreeWill Labs creates family-centered digital tools for travel planning, real-world exploration, discovery, and memory-making. Our products are designed to help families and small groups organize travel, explore places, capture memories, and make trips feel more meaningful. Our products do not replace official booking systems, professional travel advisors, safety judgment, adult supervision, or official provider information.
3. Eligibility and Family Use
You must be able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use or purchase our services. If you use our products on behalf of a family, child, organization, venue, or group, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
Our products may be used by families and children under adult supervision, but purchases, account management, form submissions, and uploaded materials should be handled by an adult parent, guardian, or authorized representative. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children during use, deciding whether a product, activity, recommendation, mission, or location is appropriate, reviewing submitted information and uploaded content, managing child-related information, photos, or family details, and following local rules, provider requirements, and safety guidance.
4. Family Trip OS
Family Trip OS is a custom trip companion service/product built from the travel information you provide. The Family Trip OS Custom Build is a manually prepared trip companion based on your submitted itinerary, travel plans, preferences, confirmations, screenshots, PDFs, notes, and related materials.
The current standard price is Family Trip OS Custom Build — $79 per trip. Pricing may change in the future. Any price change will apply only to new purchases unless otherwise stated.
What Family Trip OS May Include
Depending on the information you provide and the nature of your trip, your Family Trip OS may include a personalized trip hub, day-by-day trip structure, coming-up timeline, local assistant-style guidance, personalized recommendations, transportation guidance, trip posture and pacing notes, Vault-style organization of trip records, destination briefings, trip story or context content, and practical fallback ideas.
Family Trip OS is built from the information you provide. The more complete and accurate your submitted information is, the more useful the final trip companion will be.
Important Limitations
Family Trip OS does not book travel, change reservations, guarantee reservations, replace airline, hotel, cruise, train, or tour operator apps, replace official confirmation documents, replace passports, visas, travel insurance, or government requirements, provide legal, medical, immigration, safety, financial, or professional travel advice, or guarantee that third-party information is accurate, current, available, open, accessible, or safe. You are responsible for verifying all critical travel details with the relevant official provider.

Custom Adventure Quest Collections
A Custom Adventure Quest Collection is a custom mission-based collection created around the destination, itinerary, family interests, or travel context you provide. It is not a full trip planning service. It is designed to create playful exploration prompts and mission-based content for places you are already visiting or considering.
Adventure Quest Partner Pilot
The Adventure Quest Partner Pilot is intended for venues, destinations, creators, tourism partners, attractions, gardens, museums, parks, hotels, or related organizations that want to create an interactive visitor experience. Partner offerings may require separate written agreements, scopes of work, usage rights, brand permissions, renewal terms, delivery terms, and content review processes. If a separate partner agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separate written agreement will control for that partner relationship.
6. Real-World Exploration and Safety
Adventure Quest may encourage real-world exploration, observation, photography, walking, visiting locations, completing missions, or noticing details in the environment. You are solely responsible for supervising children and group members, staying aware of your surroundings, following local rules, laws, signs, closures, and restrictions, checking weather, hours, accessibility, transportation, and safety conditions, deciding whether a mission, location, route, activity, suggestion, or prompt is appropriate, avoiding dangerous, private, restricted, unstable, or unsafe areas, and using judgment around traffic, water, wildlife, crowds, terrain, weather, and unfamiliar places.
FreeWill Labs does not guarantee that any place, activity, route, recommendation, mission, or prompt is safe, open, accessible, legal, suitable, or appropriate for your group. Do not use Adventure Quest while driving, crossing streets, operating vehicles, supervising children in high-risk environments, or doing anything that requires full attention.
7. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds
Some FreeWill Labs products or services may be purchased through our website using third-party payment processors. You agree to provide accurate payment and contact information. Unless otherwise stated at checkout, website purchases for manual custom services may begin after payment and intake submission.
Some Adventure Quest purchases may be made through the Apple App Store or other app platforms. App store purchases, in-app purchases, refunds, billing, taxes, and purchase disputes may be handled by the relevant app store provider under their terms.
Refund Policy
Because Family Trip OS custom builds and Custom Adventure Quest Collections involve manual work, custom preparation, and digital delivery, refunds may be limited once work has begun. If you request cancellation before we begin manual work, we may issue a refund. If we have already begun reviewing your materials, preparing your build, or creating your custom collection, refunds may not be available. If we cannot complete your order for a reason within our control, we may offer a refund, partial refund, credit, or alternative resolution. App Store purchases are subject to the refund policies of the applicable app store. Any specific refund terms shown at checkout will apply to that purchase.
8. Order Intake and Customer Responsibilities
For Family Trip OS and Custom Adventure Quest Collection orders, you are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and lawful information. You agree that you have the right to submit the materials you provide, the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, you will not upload unlawful, harmful, offensive, private, or unnecessary sensitive content, you will not submit someone else’s personal information without permission, you will review final travel details against official provider sources, and you understand that incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the usefulness of your final product.
FreeWill Labs may decline, pause, or cancel an order if the submitted materials are inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, incomplete, abusive, outside scope, or inconsistent with these Terms.
9. Delivery and Revisions
Delivery timelines may vary based on order complexity, volume, missing information, travel dates, and product type. For manual custom builds, we will make reasonable efforts to deliver the product within the timeframe stated at purchase or communicated after intake review.
Unless otherwise stated, Family Trip OS includes one custom trip build. Family Trip OS may include one round of light corrections after delivery. Custom Adventure Quest Collections may include reasonable corrections for factual errors or missing provided information. Major itinerary changes, new destinations, additional travel days, or substantial scope changes may require an additional purchase or fee. FreeWill Labs is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete intake submissions, missing files, incorrect email addresses, late customer responses, or third-party platform issues.
10. User Content and Uploaded Materials
You may submit, upload, or provide content such as itineraries, screenshots, PDFs, booking confirmations, photos, notes, destination lists, family preferences, venue materials, logos or brand assets for partner work, and Adventure Quest photos, recaps, or Travel Log content.
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant FreeWill Labs a limited license to use, copy, review, organize, adapt, format, and process that content solely to provide, support, improve, and deliver the product or service you requested, communicate with you, maintain business records, and comply with law. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content.
You may not submit content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, defamatory, obscene, exploitative, invasive of privacy, unsafe, malicious, misleading, unrelated to the requested service, or violating someone else’s rights.
11. Photos, Memories, Recaps, and Travel Log
Adventure Quest may allow users to capture, save, view, or share photos, completed adventures, discoveries, recaps, postcards, or Travel Log memories. You are responsible for deciding what photos to capture, whether photos include children or other people, whether photos are appropriate to save or share, whether you have permission to photograph a location, person, venue, artwork, or event, and whether sharing a recap publicly is appropriate.
FreeWill Labs is not responsible for content you choose to capture, save, upload, or share through your device, social media, messages, or third-party platforms.
12. Intellectual Property
FreeWill Labs owns or licenses the rights to its products, apps, website, designs, text, templates, logos, icons, product names, Adventure Quest missions, collections, Family Trip OS formats, software, workflows, visual systems, and related materials. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, publish, reverse engineer, scrape, or create derivative products from FreeWill Labs content or services unless we give written permission.
Purchasing a product or service gives you a personal, limited, non-transferable right to use the delivered materials for your own family, trip, group, or organization as applicable. It does not transfer ownership of FreeWill Labs intellectual property. Partner usage rights, venue usage rights, co-branded materials, or public promotional rights should be governed by a separate written agreement where applicable.
13. Partner and Third-Party Content
Adventure Quest partner collections, sponsored experiences, venue materials, local recommendations, maps, transportation suggestions, attraction information, or third-party links may involve information from outside sources or partner-provided materials. FreeWill Labs may rely on information provided by customers, partners, venues, public sources, or third-party services. We do not guarantee that third-party information is accurate, complete, current, available, accessible, safe, or error-free. You should verify critical details with official sources before relying on them.
14. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our products or services for unlawful purposes, interfere with the operation of our website, apps, or services, attempt to access systems or data without authorization, upload malware or malicious files, harass or harm others, submit false or fraudulent information, infringe intellectual property rights, scrape or resell our content or product structures, use our products to create competing commercial products without permission, misuse partner, venue, or customer materials, use Adventure Quest in unsafe physical environments, or encourage children or users to enter unsafe, restricted, private, or unlawful places.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe these Terms have been violated.
15. AI-Assisted and Human-Assisted Content
FreeWill Labs may use a combination of human review, product templates, software tools, automation, and AI-assisted workflows to create, organize, or improve product experiences. AI-assisted outputs may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incomplete context. Human review may reduce but does not eliminate these risks. You are responsible for verifying critical travel, safety, legal, medical, financial, immigration, schedule, reservation, and provider details with official sources.
16. Disclaimers
FreeWill Labs products and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.
We do not guarantee that a trip will go as planned, a recommendation will be suitable, a location will be open, safe, or accessible, transportation will operate on time, third-party information will be accurate, app features will always be available, uploaded files will contain all necessary information, a custom build will meet every subjective expectation, or Adventure Quest missions will be appropriate for every family, child, venue, or travel condition. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of the above may not apply to you.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreeWill Labs and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost travel value, missed reservations, trip disruption, personal injury, property damage, emotional distress, or loss of enjoyment arising from your use of our products or services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a paid product or service will not exceed the amount you paid to FreeWill Labs for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
18. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FreeWill Labs and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, service providers, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your use of our products or services, your violation of these Terms, your submitted content or uploaded materials, your violation of another person’s rights, your real-world travel, exploration, or activity decisions, your misuse of Adventure Quest or Family Trip OS, your failure to supervise children or group members, or your partner, venue, or brand materials if applicable.
19. Account Access and Security
Some products may allow or require accounts, login, saved progress, purchases, or user profiles. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential, using accurate account information, not sharing access in unauthorized ways, not using another person’s account without permission, and notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for FreeWill Labs, users, partners, or service providers.
20. Changes to Products, Pricing, and Availability
We may update, modify, pause, discontinue, rename, reprice, or change features, collections, pages, services, or products at any time. We may also change collection availability, app features, manual service scope, partner pilot pricing, delivery methods, eligibility requirements, supported destinations, included features, and form requirements. If you already purchased a custom service, we will make reasonable efforts to fulfill the offer as described at the time of purchase, subject to these Terms and any checkout-specific terms.
21. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our products or services if you violate these Terms, misuse our products, submit harmful or unlawful content, we are required to do so by law, continued service would create risk for FreeWill Labs, users, partners, or third parties, or a product or service is discontinued. You may stop using our products at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, payment obligations, and dispute terms.
22. Privacy
Your use of our products and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information.
23. Third-Party Platforms
Our products may depend on third-party platforms or services, including the Apple App Store, payment processors, website hosting providers, form tools, email providers, cloud storage providers, analytics tools, maps or transportation providers, travel providers, and social media or sharing platforms. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their terms and privacy policies. FreeWill Labs is not responsible for third-party services, outages, errors, policies, fees, availability, or content.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Dispute Resolution
Before filing a legal claim, you agree to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue informally. Contact FreeWill Labs through the Contact page and use the subject line “Terms Dispute.” If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless applicable law requires a different venue.
26. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we update them, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice through the website, app, or email. Your continued use of our products or services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
